1859 - 5s red, 2nd type, two copies, in mixed franking with Austria 5kr vermilion (two copies) and 10kr brown, all 2nd type, with cancellations pre-dating the franking, from 'TRIEST 30/11' 1860 to Mantua. A splendid and rare mixed franking involving postal fraud. Cert. Manzoni and E.Diena: “All stamps show traces of previous cancellations... In my opinion the cover is genuine: I signed it as E.Diena due to the rarity of this mixed franking, including identical values. The only known example.' (Sassone 30 + Unificato 14+15 - Euro -)
