1859/64, Lombardy-Venetia 2 soldi bright yellow, 2nd type, strip of three and single in mixed franking with Austria 1863/64 2 kreuzer yellow (5th Issue), tied by “BASSANO 27/5' (1864) cds on cover to Brescia. An extraordinary mixed franking of Lombardy-Venetia 2nd Issue and Austria 5th Issue, of which only very few copies are recorded, particularly in combination with the Austrian 2kr 5th Issue. The Lombardy-Venetia 2s 2nd type remained valid for only five further days until 31 May 1864.
