1862/1960 - TURKEY: advanced collection of mint stamps, very well developed for the Ottoman empire, with complete sets mostly OG before 1900, and several MNH including the 1914 set n.177-193, and the Armistice set n.582-594. The Turkey republic period includes complete sets of standard mail, air mail and mini sheets, all MNH; The Atatürk presidence period is extremely fresh and includes: Unita' nazionale, n.643-653, Stella e mezzaluna, n.668-686, ordinaria 1926, n.695-708, Ferrovia di Sivas, n.772-793 e Congresso delle Suffragette, n.857-71. Also included newspaper stamps (Impero), servizio (Repubblica) and Charity; some postal history document and a Zeppelin cover of 1933. The collection is completed with the MNH issues of the authonomous province of Alexandrette, French protectorate and annexed to Turkey in 1933.
