 1870 - Large Hermes Heads, letter from 'IBRAILA VALACHIE 27.OCT.70', Romania, blue postmark of the French Levant post office, carried by French steamer via Constantinople to Syros. Taxed upon arrival for “45 LEP' with Athens Cleaned plates printing 5 lepta green on yellow-green and 40 lepta grey mauve on blue, canceled 'SYROS 24.10.70'. Small defects, still very interesting and uncommon. Stamped by Orestis Vlasto (Yvert 26+29 / Hellas 25+28)
