 1863 - 10c dark orange-ochre, DLR London, pair cancelled 'GOTTOLENGO 1 DIC 63' on registered return receipt addressed to Pontevico. First day of use; unique recorded example of a De La Rue stamp used on a return receipt on the day of issue and one of only three known 10c copies on this date. Light horizontal fold (as usual for such documents), stamps nevertheless very fresh and document of great rarity. Illustrated on page 396 of the Zanaria-Serra catalogue 2004. Certs.
