 1863 - Sardinia 4th issue, 3 lire bright copper, cancelled by 'GENOVA 31 DIC 63' and partial blue numeral '2' cancel. Extremely rare usage of this value on the last official day of validity of the Matraire issue, illustrated on page 390 of the descriptive-historical catalogue of the stamps of Vittorio Emanuele II (Zanaria-Serra 'The Matraire of Italy').
